About Us

We are a family-run workspace design and build company with over 30 years’ experience transforming interiors across London and the UK. During that time, we have helped countless clients to reach peak performance with unique, visually-arresting workspace interior design concepts that foster a happy and productive workforce.

Since the company’s inception in 1988, we have had the pleasure of working with some incredible clients on numerous prestigious projects – both big and small. Our creative flair and ability to deliver interior design, fit out and refurbishment projects on time to a high standard has led to us forming long-term relationships with many of these clients, and we hope to do the same with you.

Our core mission has always been the same: to breathe new life into interiors, help our clients to grow in their respected fields, and have fun whilst doing it! We believe in engaging with clients in a way that makes projects both enjoyable and stress-free; some even pop into our office to choose finishes over lunch and a cup of coffee.

As a company with creativity at its core, we also believe in outside-the-box thinking. Take a quick look at our projects and you will see many examples of creative innovation that transcends conventional workplace design. In short, we don’t do boring!

Our Fab Team

While good design is key to thriving working environment, the people who occupy it make a big difference too. At Rap, we’re lucky to have a friendly, fun and talented team that shares a passion for stunning interior design and efficient project management.

Our team is a combination of family and non-family members, but we’ve always seen ourselves as one big family at Rap. The friendly atmosphere extends to our projects too, with clients getting the best of both worlds: expert workplace design and build and caring, attentive support.

We also boast a team with a diverse skillset, which enables us to manage a full project life-cycle.  From our super-creative designers to our experienced project managers and skilled tradespeople, we can bring you the transformation of your dreams while saving you the trouble of sourcing multiple contractors.

Our Awards

Our stunning interior designs have led to us winning many awards over the years. Among them are the Kent Independent Traders’ ‘Innovative Business of the Year’, the National Federation of Builders’ ‘Refurb Project of the Year’ for CXK Maidstone, and a ‘Client of the Year’ award nominated by Family Mosaic.

Our design director Julie Anderson was also the proud recipient of an FIS ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’ for her services to the commercial interior design and fit out sector. The panel highlighted the importance of Julie’s contribution in inspiring more women to pursue a career in the construction industry.

Working at Rap Interiors

We have a great time the Rap – both in the office and out. While we work hard, we always go about our daily business with a sense of humour and an indomitable team spirit. Outside the office, we’re a sociable bunch and love to celebrate achievements and occasions together. Past events include boat parties, golf days, and our now infamous Christmas parties. Other benefits of working at Rap include a pension scheme, 20 days’ holiday, plus bank holidays and your birthday off.
